Leveraging technical and managerial assistance to support effective service delivery and drive meaningful change

We have successfully undertaken long term project management assignments for the Water Sector Technical Group, Ford Foundation, USAID, Land O Lakes and Open Society Initiative of East Africa. This entailed a hands-on management and implementation of the projects, overall responsibility for project outputs and impact, and project financial management and financial responsibility, including budgeting, accounting and staff management.

We use a project cycle approach in our activities and our assignment process ensures that we not only understand the clients’ needs and objectives but also to identify with your challenges and triumphs.

Like a diamond there are many sides to the success of a project, both internal and external factors. Our approach undertakes to review the different facets affecting the success of the programs and projects.

  • Surveys and Appraisals, i.e. assessing the relevance, feasibility and sustainability of planned projects, both institutionally, socially, economically technically and financially.
  • Technical support to on-going projects in various management aspects including technical advice on project management, reviews and performance management based on organisations or donor requirements; while maintaining track on the overall goals and projected outcomes.
  • Hands-on administration and implementation of on-going projects, overall responsibility for project outputs and impact, and project financial management and financial responsibility, including budgeting, accounting and staff management.
  • Fund/grants management in terms of assessing and establishing the grant worthiness of the applicants and working with partners in the preparation of budgets and cash flow forecasts, contracting, disbursing and accounting for the funds availed.
  • Reviews & monitoring, i.e. assessing inputs and progress vis-à-vis outputs and plans of ongoing projects, both institutionally, technically, and financially
  • Evaluations & Post-Project Analysis, i.e. assessing outputs and outcomes, and short- and long-term impact and sustainability of finalized projects.
